BFD Black Album Drums is an expansion pack for BFD3 and inspired by the drum sound featured on the 1991 Black Album by Metallica.


 

What do I need in order to use this expansion pack?


BFD Black Album Drums requires a registered copy of BFD3. It is not compatible with BFD1.x, BFD2 or BFD Eco.

  • 1980 Gretsch kit
  • Zildjian Cymbals
  • Tama Bell Brass snare
  • Ludwig 1970s vintage Black Beauty
  • 1 full drum kit including 17 kit pieces and sampled in full detail with up to 286 samples per articulation


 

Who is BFD Black Album Drums recorded by?


BFD Black Album Drums is produced and recorded by Chocolate Audio and engineered by Mike Tacci in the restored One On One Recording Studio (now 17 Hertz) where the original “Black Album” drums were recorded.



How much space is used by Black Album drums when installed?


The download size is approximately 11.5 GB.


 

Do you allow license transfers?


Yes, however:

  • If you're the seller, you must contact us in advance of the sale. If you're a prospective second-hand buyer, you must check that the seller is cleared to sell. If in doubt, contact us.
