BFD3 users may wish to export Grooves from BFD3, into their DAW without a need to rely on BFD3's Groove Engine alone.

How to Export a Groove from BFD3 to your DAW's Instrument track
- Launch your DAW
- Create an Instrument Track
- Load BFD3 as the Instrument
- Explode BFD3's GUI in your DAW
- Load a Kit / Preset of your choice
- Click 'Grooves' to display your Grooves
- Observe your available Palettes / Grooves
- Double-click on a Groove or Palette to load it
- Click ' Groove Editor' to make any changes to the Groove
- Once you're happy, click on the groove, drag and drop it to your DAW's Instrument Track
- Once you have performed this step, you'll need to click 'GRV OFF'.
- If you need to audition a new groove in BFD3, click 'Palette'
- Click 'Play' in your DAW to playback the Groove

Groove playback in my DAW is resulting in missed hits. What should I do?
If your Grooves are not triggering as expected in your DAW, this will likely be due to the mapping. To solve it...
- Click the 3 lines on the top left of the GUI
- Select File > Load Keymap
- Select the Key Map BFD 3.0
- Click 'Load' to successfully load the desired Keymap.
Groove playback in my DAW is resulting in Distortion. What should I do?
In most cases, distortion will occur if CPU consumption in your project is too high
- First, try increasing the Audio Buffersize in your DAW - A good starting point is 512 and working up to 1024.

- Disable Multi-threaded synthesis & Multi-threaded mixer - This will reduce the number of cores on your computer BFD3 consumes by half:
- Launch BFD3
- Click the 3 lines on the top left
- Select Tools > Preferences
- Click the 'Engine' tab on the left
- Disable Multi-threaded synthesis & Multi-threaded mixer
